Evening Shift 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Place Rideau1. Read the communication book2. Take the blood sugar level and give insulin to residents listed3. Start setting tables for supper (around 3:45 PM), putting appropriate beverages at the appropriate places4. Start serving 2nd floor main course followed by dessert5. Distribute residents medication at their table on 1st and 2nd floor6. Have your own supper7. After supper, clean dishes according to established 3 steps procedures and return dishes to the downstairs kitchen8. Clean dining room tables with water and javex.9. Start doing personal laundry according to schedule10. Start cleaning bedrooms according to schedule (change bed sheets, spray mattress with Lysol disinfectant, dust furniture, wash floor and thoroughly clean the bathroom if there is one)11. Initial the “Room Cleaning Checklist†when you are done12. Run vacuum in carpeted areas13. Serve snacks from 7:30 to 8:00 PM then wash all dishes according to procedures14. Distribute residents nighttime / bedtime medications15. Clean and disinfect common area bathrooms on 1st , 2nd and 3rd floor16. Ensure there is sufficient toilet paper in all bathrooms17. Lock all outside doors at 9:00 PM18. Complete a walk around security and safety check of all residents at least every 2 hours19. Change André Berlinquette’s diaper20. Take out your garbage, put away your cleaning supplies and equipment, Make sure all your work is done before the night shift comes in21. Complete your entries in the communication book22.
