Job Description

Commercial and Industrial Winnipeg Sales RepresentativeMcDougall Auctioneers is hiring a full-time commercial and industrial sales representative to service our clients and promote sales in our Winnipeg Manitoba region.Our ideal candidate is a customer-focused salesperson who is comfortable in a commercial or industrial setting. You could be selling out a mechanic shop, restaurant, retail store, or welding shop. Auction sales experience is considered an asset.Do you like being social and getting to know new people and building relationships That is what this job is all about. Some computer knowledge is a necessity and training to use our internal database will be provided.

  • This position is based out of our Winnipeg office and requires frequent travel within Manitoba and occasionally to our head office in Emerald Park, SK – A valid driver’s license & clean driving record are required.
  • Company Vehicle and Laptop will be provided.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Visiting existing & potential customers to discuss industrial equipment auction sales.
  • Input data into our internal database.
  • Work with our advertising department to maximize sale exposure.
  • Communicate with customers, provide customer service, supply quotes and build a strong relationship between the customer and the Company.
  • Researching customer needs and identifying how our solutions can support them.
  • Participate in trade shows as required/requested.
  • Cold calling
  • Executing auction contracts
  • Executing equipment listings and taking sale photos
Salary:
  • TBD
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
Experience:
  • Sales experience would be a definite asset.
  • Working with the public.
  • Computer knowledge
License/Certification:
  • Class 5 License
