Mammoth Equipment is a manufacturer of diesel exhaust systems and accessories, providing exhaust solutions for the Mining Industry for over 40 years.We are growing rapidly and looking to expand our Warehouse team as we have recently moved into a new larger facility in Headingley.Mammoth is looking for an ambitious and self motivated individual to assist with the daily shipping operations at our warehouse.Day-to-day duties includes shipping of goods, order picking, packaging, packing, crate assembly, completing daily house keeping duties, etc.The successful candidate will report to the Warehouse Manager, and work along side the Warehouse Manager, the Receiver and another Warehouse Associate. The department reports to the Operations Manager.There will also be some warehouse maintenance duties such as organization of stock, setting up racking and shelving, marking of floors, tool and equipment shadow boards, etc as we continuously improve.You will be required to operate a sit down forklift and stand up reach truck as part of your duties. Forklift experience is preferred, training or retraining will be provided.Education: High School graduate or higherExperience: 2 years or greater experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving is preferredPre-requisite Skills: Works well with othersTeam playerProblem SolverStrong organization skillsAttention to detailGood computer skillsPositive attitudeRead and write in EnglishWage: Base starting wage is $16.00/hr, with a wage review after a 3 month probation period.
