This position reports directly to the Grocery Supervisors, and some of the main responsibilities include;Ensure customer service is provided through maintaining a safe and efficient operation while adhering to company policies, procedures and standards.Performing all aspects of the Grocery clerk functions including but not limited to, stocking, proper storage of product, displays and facing in an efficient and organized manner. Ensure display presentation and stock levels are maintained in all areas but not limited to dairy, freezer, grocery and warehouse.Perform general clean up duties to ensure an efficient, safe and clean Grocery department is maintained. Responsible for keeping the sales floor and back stock area clean from cardboard and debris, as well as disposal of garbage.Handles merchandise ensuring quality, minimizing damages and markdowns.
