Job Description

Patron Career Staffing is hiring for Maintenance Millwrights (Must have at least 3 or more years of experience fixing CNC Milling Machines).Duties:

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer #39;s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
  • Daily utilizes forklift scizzorlifts, skyjacks, boom jacks, saws, ladders, and other power tools as required.
  • Cleans floors and garbage.
  • Shovels snow, mows the lawn.
  • Moves skids, material, furniture, supplies, and equipment.
  • Organizes shop, and stores (Material above Deburring Dept.)
  • Fills CNC machines with oil, grease, and coolant as required.
  • Changes air filters on CNC Machines.
  • Completes all facility maintenance tasks as required including fixing plumbing, electrical, light fixtures, duct work, galbanized air pipes, etc.
  • Fixes components on Forklift machines.
  • Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
  • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
  • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
  • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
  • Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests to other department Supervisors.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with Company procedures, and ISO regulations.
  • All other duties assigned by the Manager.
Wage Range: $25-32.Safety Shoes required.Tools required for the job: require many of their own tools and toolboxes.
