Join us in creating a more inclusive future with GrizzlyTrek and transform your career.Job OverviewGrizzlyTrek is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at a mine site near Williams Lake, BC. This is a contract position for a 5 day outage.Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless project operations.
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
  • Journeyman Electrician certification.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an industrial or mining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on a mine site.
  • Familiarity with automated control systems and PLCs.
  • Certification in first aid and H2S Alive.
Work Environment:
  • Work is performed in an industrial setting with exposure to outdoor conditions.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
