SAP DeveloperAdecco is currently recruiting for a SAP Developer. It is a 8 - month contract opportunity (occasional visit on site) with a possibility of extension. This role is with our Crown corporation client in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance.The SAP Developer will have the following responsibilities:Translate business requirements into an overall technical solution that is robust, scalable, and extensible with supporting research (including building RICEFWs:Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows)­Conduct continuous improvement analysis on existing application and infrastructure technology and its ability to support the business requirements.­Design and implement simple and complex systems solutions in the S/4 environment.­Provide development responsibilities to ensure the project is completed within the required time frame; Ensure code is migrated across project landscape according to project timelines.­Work closely with other development teams to ensure design patterns and direction are successfully and consistently implemented.­Create proof of concepts to prove technologies and patterns that can be used to make decision on strategy.Proactively anticipate technical risks and design/implement error handling and other mitigation techniques to ensure system stability and security.Participate in tier 3 application support activities including incident management and the assessment and delivery of application upgrades and patches.Identify and evaluate risks and participate in mitigation and control activities.The SAP Developer must meet the following requirements:­Must have post-secondary education in computer science or application development or Certifications/functional skills: SDLC Methodology – Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development;­Must have 4+ years of experience with developing Fiori Apps Using Concept of RAP Model, CDS View and ODATA Services;­Must have 4+ years of experience with designing and maintaining Core Data Services (CDS) views; both standard and custom;­Must have 4+ years of experience in configuration/administration standard apps and workflows for SAP Fiori (on-premises and cloud);Must have 4+ years’ experience with SAP’s programming language (ABAP);Must have 4+ years of experience on tools Eclipse, SAP WEBIDE, SAP BUILD, and SAP Business Application Studio and web user interface technologies like SAPUI5, JavaScript and Web IDE;­Must have 4+ years of experience in UX strategy and design, cloud-based HANA development workbench, and Python;Must have knowledge on using GitHub understanding of XML, JSON, SOAP, API and REST Web services;The following skills/experience would be an asset:­Experience on working in ABAP on HANA development on version 1709 (or higher);Experience with SAP BTP or Knowledge in SAP functional modules, e.g., OTC, FICO, FICA, HCM, BRIM, PaPM, Disclosure Management, etc.­Experience working with middleware technologies interfacing with S/4 / Netweaver environments;­Experience on Windows scripting and Unix shell scripting; ­Knowledge of functions, features and facilities of applicable programming languages.If you are interested in applying to our SAP Developer, please submit your resume as soon as possible by clicking on the#39;Apply with Adecco #39; button.CAB7616@@j
