You would work with team members who are vibrant, smart and passionate and they bring their passion to all that they do – whether it’s learning, giving back to our communities or always going the extra mile for our client.We are seeking a System Analyst with deep knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) tools to join our team and large-scale government client projects in Ottawa.You must have hands-on experience with ITSM deployment to be considered for paid training to certify in the preferred ITSM tool suite (BMC-ITSM) which we are willing to candidates who join our permanent team.Typical tasks and activities associated with role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Implement applications to support projects, departments, organizations or corporate services;
• Translate business requirements into systems design and technical specifications;
• Analyze and recommend alternatives and options for technical solutions;
• Analyze business requirements, perform feasibility studies, provide costing estimates for options analysis, data mapping, and produce the required functional and technical specifications or process re-engineering recommendations;
• Provide system expertise (BMC-Remedy) to both functional and technical teams to ensure effective integration of solutions across the application(s); and
• Provide application support (in BMC-Remedy) to end-users by troubleshooting and correcting issues, providing training, and reporting to management.

Workplace: Hybrid model.Currently work is remote.Moving forward there may be onsite in Ottawa with ability to work remotely from home and travelling occasionally when requiredMust Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience working as a Systems Analyst implementing BMC-ITSM projects OR 5+ years ITSM project implementation experience and the willingness / ability to complete BMC training to certify in 6 weeks
• Previous experience working on government projects

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with BMC Digital Workplace an/or BMC Atrium Orchestrator
• ITIL certification
• BMC certifications
• Government of Canada security clearance in process or completed
