This position assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the beverage program as well as quality standards for the lounge service staff. This position also completes other duties related to the daily operations of the dining outlets as assigned by the General Manager - Lakeside Dining.What will you be doingYou will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:

• All beverage ordering and inventory
• Creation, costing and execution of the lounge menu
• Continued development and implementation of the Whisky Program
• Training the bar and service teams
• Developing and maintaining policies, procedures and quality standards within the department, utilizing a continuous improvement approach to ensure a high quality, cost effective and customer focused operation
• Demonstrating high personal integrity, business ethics and acts as an ambassador to all the Resort’s dining outlets
• Continuously seeking ways to minimize operating expenses and drive all revenue streams
• Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained to deliver quality service and within budgeted labour
• Consistently offering professional, friendly, and warm hospitality to all guests
• Providing speedy resolutions for any issues that arise during a guest’s bar and/or dining experience
• Regularly monitoring food and beverage service to ensure standards are met
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with guests, crew members, and management
• Create a fun, safe and exciting working environment championing H amp;S initiatives
• Demonstrating hands-on management approach to lead our service team
• Giving daily support and guidance to the lounge service team as well as monitor job performance to ensure a curated experience is delivered to our guests
• Coaching and training employees as well as providing disciplinary action when required
• Ensuring proper record keeping, inventory and cash handling procedures are followed
• Inspect and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all lounge areas and equipment
• Additional duties as assigned or required

What are we looking for To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following:

• Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business or Hospitality is an asset
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate extreme organization in a fast-paced environment while acting as a team player
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a large and variable workload, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned work
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Guest focused, outgoing, positive, friendly attitude
• Able to work flexible hours in line with guest and business needs, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Impeccable standards
• Serving It Right Certificate
• Experience with Squirrel
• Proof of both Spiritsamp; Wine education
• Experience with Open Table, 7 Shifts, Optimum Control and/or Payworks an asset
