Job Description

About Us:Join Tommy Gun #39;s Original Barbershop, a leader in the barbershop industry with a strong commitment to excellence and innovation! We are looking for a dynamic and passionate National Educator to join our team and help elevate our training programs to new heights. Please note that this role does not require you to live in Kelowna.Responsibilities:

  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for barbers across our locations, ensuring consistency and quality in service. You will conduct training with our regional educators and our mentors as well as provide in shop training for newly opened Barbershops. You will also manage all aspects of our online training catalogue.
  • Public Speaking: Lead workshops, seminars, and presentations with confidence and clarity.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and products in the barbering industry.
  • Barbershop Representation: Embody the culture and standards of Tommy Gun #39;s Original Barbershop, promoting a positive and professional image.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate and teach men #39;s haircuts and styles with expertise.
  • Communication and Inspiration: Effectively educate, communicate, and inspire barbers to excel in their craft.
  • Career Development: Show a genuine desire to grow personally and professionally within the company.
RequirementsQualifications:
  • Experience: At least one year of active barber training experience.
  • Public Speaking: Comfortable and skilled in public speaking and presenting.
  • Discipline and Openness: Disciplined, open to learning, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Barbershop Knowledge: Strong understanding and representation of a barbershop environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to plan and structure training sessions effectively. Ability to manage time efficiently and keep training on schedule.
  • Feedback and Evaluation: Competence in providing constructive feedback to help trainees improve. Skill in evaluating trainee progress and adjusting training methods accordingly.
