Join our dynamic team at The Green Pineapple today! We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our Kelowna budtending team. Previous cannabis knowledge and retail experience is an asset, but a willingness to learn is essential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis culture, exhibit great customer service and communication skills, as well as have a strong ability to work within a team environment. Our store is located on Bernard Avenue in the beautiful downtown of Kelowna, BC. Our store’s operating hours are 9am-11pm, 7 days a week, including holidays.Duties/Responsibilities:-Provides excellent customer service and education-Maintains organization and cleanliness of the store-Strong cash management skills (processing payments, cash handling, learning POS system)-Follows operational rules, regulations, policiesamp; procedures-Handles customer feedback and complaints/concerns in a professional, timely manner-Completes opening and closing procedures-Adheres to all safety and security protocols-Ability to work alone and in a team environmentJob Type/Shifts:-Permanent, part-time-Mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays-4 hour shifts-8 hour shiftsPay:-$17.00 per hourBenefits:-Casual dress-On-site parking-Store discount-Reciprocal discountsRequirementsJob Requirements:-Minimum 19 years of age-Valid Selling it Right certification upon hire-Interest in the cannabis industry-Adherence to Provincial/Federal Cannabis laws and regulations-Retail sales experience (preferred)-Must be able to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend shifts
