Our client, the Central Okanagan Food Bank (COFB) is a non-profit, charitable organization committed to creating a hunger-free community by providing healthy, nutritious food those who need it most. They rely on the generosity of the community to support the work they do through the donation of food, funds, and time. These donations come from individuals, families, organizations and community groups as well as various fundraising/food-raising efforts.The Central Okanagan Food Bank is looking for an enthusiastic Communications Coordinator to join their dynamic Kelowna team on a full-time basis. As the successful candidate, you will nurture engagement with all stakeholders and local community through customized and meaningful marketing initiatives that promote on-going support for the organization. In collaboration with other members of the Development and Operations team, you will have both internal and external focuses. The COFB has a dynamic and evolving team that encourages others to believe in their missionamp; mandate and who inspire others to collaborate with them to make the community a brighter, more resilient place to live and work.
