Their results-driven team represents clients locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally, addressing their personal, corporate, commercial, and litigation needs.Position Overview: They are seeking an experienced (8+ year call) Litigator to join their dynamic team. This position has multiple location opportunities, providing an excellent opportunity for a talented attorney to have a great work/life balance.Responsibilities:

  • Handle a diverse caseload with variable options for areas of focus.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting of pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on insurance coverage issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop effective case strategies.
  • Participate in mediations, negotiations, and court proceedings as required.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the British Columbia Bar.
  • Minimum of eight years of experience specifically in litigation.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preference for those with a book of business.
