The Four Points by Sheraton Kelowna Airport and the Hampton Inn and Suites Kelowna is currently looking to fill the role of Night Audit Supervisor.This is a dual property role working at both the Four Points by Sheraton Kelowna Airport and the Hampton Innamp; Suites Kelowna and must possess a valid class 5 license. Located near the Kelowna Airport, we are on a bus route, with a stop just outside of the hotel. We also pickup our employees from the bus loop at UBCO! What will you be doingThe Night Audit Supervisor is a key member of the Front Office Team; responsible for the overnight operations of the hotel, from 11:00pm to 7:30am and will verify the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges and revenues, as well as assisting with all aspects of guest services.You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:

  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests #39; service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Develop/maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns
  • Follow company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Process all guest check-ins, verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, and activating/issuing room key
  • Supervise, train and assist the Night Audit team as required
  • Accuracy and accountability of payment verification, process deposits and currency exchange. Maintains cashier float supplied. Reports any overages or shortages daily
  • Enter rewards information and enroll new members
  • Compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists
  • Complete cashier and closing reports
  • Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges and email/print folios
  • Processing and confirming wake up calls
  • Understanding of squirrel, and other key systems (Lightspeedamp; PEP)
  • Quality of service, able to handle complaints and provide resolution
  • Balance inventory and groups
  • Ensures compliance with all Front Office policies, brand standards, online training and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds
  • Operate Hotel shuttle in a safe manner in accordance with the Motor Vehicle Act
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Managers
  • Available to work varied shifts: days, evenings, weekends and holidays
What are we looking forTo successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following:
  • High School graduation required
  • Class 5 driver’s license
  • Previous experience in a Supervisory role an asset
  • Knowledge of Front Office Operations
  • Previous Front Office experience
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • First Aid an asset
  • Superhost training an asset
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
