Administrative ClerkOn-siteKelowna, BCPart-TimeReference Number: CAN-BC-KEL-037-270224Doman Building Materials is an exciting place to work as an Administrative Clerk. We operate in every province and distribute a wide range of product lines. The Administrative Clerk supports our business by taking responsibility for the day-to-day administrative duties related to the Distribution Centre to maximize the effectiveness of customer service levels. You will interact with other departments to solve problems and provide answers and information.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a member of the Kelowna office, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day administration and support functions of a busy team. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering inbound shipments and vendor claims, entering credit notes and daily invoicing of customer orders.ABOUT YOUYou have a passion for administration and aim for perfection in details and coordination. As a result, you love to be the coordinator of many moving parts while being a stickler for details. You understand how operations, sales, and administration function together in driving the operational efficiencies of a company. You have talents in administration and understand the importance of handling confidential information with discretion. You enjoy analyzing and assessing situations for the best outcome.You are comfortable providing support to various teams and troubleshooting issues that arise. This combined with your problem-solving nature, is a winning combination for this position.You have at least two years of administration experience combined with your advanced knowledge of Excel with superior accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.   • Able to clearly communicate, written and verbal, with internal and external parties professionally and courteously.
EDUCATION
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related discipline is an asset.
  • High-school education is a minimum requirement.
