The AC works collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify barriers to regular and consistent attendance at work and to develop action plans for eliminating and/or reducing these barriers. The AC understands employee work-related job functions as well as the physical and cognitive demands of various jobs.QualificationsPost-secondary degree in a health related field (Nursing, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy preferred) and or an equivalent combination of education, training and experienceCompletion of an appropriate and/or working towards credentials in the fields of Disability Management and/or Occupational Health & Safety preferredAdditional training/certification in areas of occupational health safety and wellness is an assetMember in good standing with respective discipline college and associations.Two years disability management experience with experience in the accommodation of employees in a unionized environment is required.Past experience in performing job demand analysis is preferred.Excellent customer service, interpersonal and relationship building skillsExcellent communication (verbal and written), problem solving and decision making and conflict resolution skills.Excellent consultative, influencing, and mentoring skillsEffective work practice - accountable, dependable, flexible, persevering, sets goals and meets deadlines, results-orientedEffective research and analytical thinking skillsKnowledge of adult education and learning principlesAdditional qualificationsExcellent oral and written presentation skills.Knowledge of Occupational Health Safety and Wellness issues and trendsKnowledge of the Health Care environment and associated job demands tasksExcellent understanding and knowledge of collective agreements and organization polices, employment guides, and applicable legislation (e.g., privacy legislation, Labour Standards Code)Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Internet Explorer, Outlook, and other information management systems.Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferredPlease Note: Candidates will not be considered for an interview if applications are incomplete or missing information.
