Position Status: Part TimeSalary: $13.00 hourly (approximately 9hrs/week)Start Date: June 2021, pending COVID-19 guidelinesLocation: KentvilleDepartment Number: 5382The YMCA is looking for highly organized, fun and energetic child-minding staff to join our busy and growing local settlement team!The YMCA ExperienceAs a non-profit charity the YMCA provides services encompassing Health and Wellness, Employment, Childcare, Residential and Camp, Immigrant Services and Leadership Development. In joining the YMCA you will become part of a dedicated network of individuals with great passion for providing holistic support to the communities in which we serve!The OpportunityThis position will provide temporary care for newcomer children while their parents, or guardians, are accessing YMCA Immigrant Services language programs. Child Minding Staff will provide quality care for newcomer children and focus on providing activities that are age appropriate, engaging, safe and inclusive.
