Job Description

A key member of the HR/Risk Team, the Claims Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all cargo claims are reported, investigated, and processed in a timely fashion to reduce potential of increased loss while ensuring claims are managed fairly and in the best interest of the company.Core duties:

  • Manage freight claims process to completion
  • Investigation, root-cause analysis
  • Maintain records/files/systems
  • Securing and utilization of digital records
  • Assist with remedial training
  • On-site attendance (local incidents)
  • Regular weekly reporting
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years verifiable experience in a similar position
  • A background in insurance claims is considered an asset
  • Proficient computer/software skills such as but not limited to Microsoft Office
