Job Description

Rafuse and Berwick Home Hardware Building Centres located in the Annapolis Valley, N.S. has an immediate opening for a FULL TIME CONSTRACTOR SALES REPRESENTATIVE. In this position, you will be part of an experienced Home Hardware sales team primarily responsible for serving our valuable contractors. The ideal candidate would have previous building supply experience with knowledge in construction, plumbing, electrical, as well as project estimating. We offer a competitive salary based on experience.

  • Work as part of a contractor sales team servicing all contractors needs.
  • Provide excellent friendly customer service within any store department.
  • Ability to maintain a positive customer service attitude when dealing with customers, vendors, or associates.
  • Report directly to the store manager.
  • Produce quotes, material lists and follow up on contractor deliveries.
  • Achieve monthly and yearly sales goals.
  • Maintain excellent contractor relationships with existing contractors.
  • Participate in various training courses as needed.
  • Measure and order Kohler windows and doors.
  • Source and order non-stock products for contractors.
  • Create purchase orders and sales slips accurately and on time.
  • Be flexible to work our retail sales desk and lend a hand where needed.
