Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and dynamic Logistics Distribution Transportation (LD amp;T) Coordinator to join our Atlantic Canada Traffic Team.Our LD amp;T Coordinators contribute to the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada through accurate and efficient dispatch of our fleet, analysis of current routes/runs to identify areas for improvement, and partnership with our traffic team to ensure alignment of expectations between drivers, customers, and production.This position would report to the Eastern Canada Operations Traffic Manager and will be required to work to backfill our vacation requirements.ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with the Quebec dispatch team in designing appropriate network solutions to move our products across Eastern Canada.
  • Working with our routing and scheduling software to prepare optimized trips for our OTR drivers
  • Communicating route assignments, delivery schedules and backhaul pickups to our drivers and customer service teams.
  • Tracking and tracing inbound and outbound shipments to various locations to maintain accurate arrival dates and communicate with internal network and external clients.
  • Analyzing current routes, available trucks and drivers, and orders to build efficient loads
  • Support on the road drivers with ad-hoc requests.
  • Provide support for logistics projects or operations projects assigned.
QualificationsQualifications
  • Strong problem solving skills, analytical, solution oriented
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable using the computer and learning new systems
  • Able to prioritize multiple important priorities
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills, and accept new business changes
  • Experience in a Traffic/Distribution environment is considered an asset
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset but not required.
Role will be based in Moncton.
