To view all of our current vacancies, please go to https://jobs.nshealth.ca/.ResponsibilitiesFood Service WorkerPerform assigned duties in meal preparation, meal delivery, cafeteria service and cleaning. * Grade 12 education or demonstrated skills and/or relevant work experience, equivalency must be clearly stated in your cover letter and resume, Food Safety Level 1 (Food Handlers) required or willing to obtain within six (6) monthsFood Production WorkerPerform assigned duties in meal preparation, heating/reheating of food, meal service, cafeteria and catering service and cleaning related to providing quality, safe and nutritious food as per the food service model to the patients, clients and customers of the facility/community. * Grade 12 education or demonstrated skills and/or relevant work experience, equivalency must be clearly stated in your cover letter and resume, successful completion of Food Handlers Course within the past five years or willing to obtain within six (6) monthsCookThe Cook is responsible for the preparation and cooking of food as required for the patient/client menu. The Cook follows quantity recipes ensuring menu choices produced meet quality standards.
