  • As a member of our culinary team, you will provide the highest quality of customer service at all times, while preparing and cooking meals requiring short preparation time, including:
o Reading food orders/receiving verbal instructions on meal required by customer and preparing accordinglyo Following basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foodso Preparing food by operating a variety of kitchen equipment, measure/mix ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting, and shredding fruits/vegetables, trimming and cutting meat, poultry, or fish for culinary useo Tasting products, reading menus, estimating food requirements, checking production and keeping records to accurately plan production requirements, supplies, and equipmento Maintaining a clean and sanitized work station and following all Sodexo, client, and regulatory rules and health/safety procedures What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • High School diploma or equivalent or Red Seal
  • One year of experience preferred, working knowledge of food preparation and familiar with kitchen environment/equipment
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, willing to go beyond the basics
  • Ability to work under supervision and follow standard procedures
  • Personal and professional integrity, appearance, and demeanor
