Job Description

Kentville, NSReference # AM - 14625Meridia Recruitment Solutions has partnered with Parsons Green Developments (PGD), a passionate developer focused on multi-unit high end residential developments, to recruit a Resident Services Coordinator to live and work in their Miner's Landing Apartments overlooking the outstanding natural beauty of Kentville, NS.Miner's Landing is a blend of tastefully designed, open concept suites flooded with natural light and large balconies that overlook the beautiful wilderness trails of Eaves Hollow and the Cornwallis River Valley. Situated close to Kentville's commercial centre as well as bird sanctuaries and extensive walking trails, Miner's Landing also offers an Amenity Building, gym and ground floor common areas.Reporting to the Resident Services Manager, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with the residents, ensuring they are provided a safe, healthy, comfortable living environment. Being visible and making yourself available to tenant requests, you'll perform on-site daily activities including keeping the buildings clean at all times, minor maintenance, move in and move out inspections, as well as arranging and being present for apartment showings. This could be a great opportunity if you have demonstrated you can work independently, are well organized, and have a track record of creating a positive experience for people.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Keeping the buildings clean at all times including halls, garbage rooms and all common areas, particularly the entrances and the Amenity Building, on a daily basis;
  • Ensure walkways, driveways, sidewalks, parking areas, and lawns are free of debris, ice and snow at all times, as well as assisting the snow plough operator as required in the parking lot as to placement of snow and movement of vehicles in the way;
  • Check all lighting daily, replacing and repairing any minor lighting issues;
  • Check electrical rooms regularly, ensuring they are clean and completely free of any storage or other items as well as reporting any irregularities;
  • Assist maintenance and repair personnel with building access and be present and available within occupied apartment units.
Your qualifications:
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, cleaning or custodial role;
  • Previous experience cleaning and performing general maintenance;
  • High attention to detail and strong work ethic;
  • Demonstrated high level of professionalism and initiative;
  • Proven ability to work independently, delivering exceptional results;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with an ability to collaborate with others effectively;
  • Demonstrated ability to remain organized and manage time effectively in a fast paced, changing environment.
