Job Description

  • Route goods to appropriate storage areas
  • Record shortages and reject damaged goods
  • Prepare bills of lading
  • Invoices and other shipping documents
  • Maintain internal record-keeping system
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
  • Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
  • Support the performance of the warehouse team by planning work, organizing work and helping the team succeed. You will also identify problems and opportunities and communicate them to the supervisor
  • Help the team to meet its goals i.e. inventory accuracy requirements, completion of all warehouse related documentation and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Demonstrate safe and effective work methods by safely operating equipment as not to endanger his/her safety and the safety of others
  • Promote work place safety and company safety policies.
  • Keep and maintain accurate records and communicate any issues to the warehouse supervisor.
  • Strive for continuous improvement by identifying and eliminating waste of all types.
  • Strive to maintain quality standards set out by the quality assurance department and communicate any deviations from standard operating procedures to the quality assurance department immediately.
  • Weight Handling Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Experience on Industrial lift trucks and forklifts, pallet lifters is an asset
  • Forklift operator certification
  • Working in a warehouse environment is a minimum requirement
