Youth Outreach Plus Social WorkerFamily Service of Nova Scotia is a non-profit Organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. For over 52 years, we have provided professional therapy and educational programs throughout Nova Scotia.Location: Kenville, Nova ScotiaQualifications: Our Organization is seeking an individual with a social work degree who has experience working with youth and families. This position is full time permanent beginning in August 2022Position Requirements: The Youth Outreach Plus position provides two service types. First the social worker will provide collaborative case consultation for Youth Outreach Program staff to support complex case management. Secondly, the worker will provide intensive goal focused home and community-based interventions to provide support to youth with multiple vulnerabilities. The goal is to improve immediate and long term educational, vocational, social, economic and health outcomes for young persons aged 16-24.Persons considered for this position must have membership in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers, an active drivers license, clear vulnerable and child abuse registry checks.
