Community Inclusion Society delivers one of the Nova Scotia Works Employment Services Centres that are available throughout the province of Nova Scotia. Our main centre is located in downtown Kentville with a secondary centre located in Windsor.We are excited to offer a Summer Internship opportunity for up to 16 weeks for an individual currently attending and planning to return to post-secondary studies in the fall. The successful candidate would be filling the role of Information Resource Specialist with a focus on youth employment services. Information Resource Specialists are the first point of contact with our centre – and are responsible for explaining the menu of services, providing information on available community resources, completing intakes for new clients, assisting with job search related tools and job applications, assisting in the creation of social media content and assisting in the delivery of workshops / webinars on topics related to job search.This opportunity will provide training, experience as well as exposure to the breadth of career options available through the Nova Scotia Works system.
