Job Description

The Jr. Network Support Administrator is primarily responsible for assisting with network hardware, infrastructure configuration and troubleshooting support. This position requires knowledge of providing end user support, site networking, hardware replacements and upgrades as well as asset monitoring and management.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists IT Administrators with networking, troubleshooting, and infrastructure
  • Support Microsoft 365 and Azure services
  • Responsible for organization of IT records
  • Responsible for connections of remote sites and Kincardine
  • Replace hardware when required
  • Provide end user support for PC hardware, printers, 3rd party software & hardware, Microsoft Windows, Office, SharePoint, Teams, VPN, Cisco, and Cell Phones
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • End user support
  • Network hardware and software configuration
  • Hardware replacements/upgrades
  • Asset monitoring and management
  • After hours support
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot
Work Experience and Educational Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience providing the following.
  • End User Support
  • IT system and Network administration
  • Courses in Programming, Networking and Business Administration
  • Computer Systems Technician Diploma
  • Network fundamentals
  • Constructing/maintaining advanced network setups (routing, switching, wireless, security)
  • Experience with Cloud services and Infrastructure would be an asset
