(this is an onsite opportunity based in downtown Toronto)Our client, a fast-growing Series A SaaS company supporting small businesses and startups, has been recognized by several media outlets as one to watch in Toronto’s startup scene. We’re currently looking for a Director of Sales to join their GTM team.Reporting to the CEOBuild the sales playbook and enhance the GTM strategyLead, manage, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targetsDevelop and implement sales strategies and processes that align with company goals and objectivesMonitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing guidance and support to ensure team successIdentify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clientsCollaborate with other departments, including marketing, finance, product and revenue operationsMaintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needsConduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for the sales team.Manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reporting to senior managementRequirementsMust be willing to be on-site 5 days a week (office is Downtown Toronto)Previous experience leading (with title) at a high-growth startupStrong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsExcellent leadership, coaching, and team management skillsOutstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisionsStrategic thinker with a focus on results and customer satisfactionProficiency in CRM software and other sales toolsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)BenefitsCompetitive salary and bonus structure + equityComprehensive benefits packageOpportunity to work in a dynamic, high-growth environmentCareer development and advancement opportunities
