Our Canadian subsidiary in Kingston, Ontario produces market-disrupting sensor technology and software that is transforming the manufacturing industry.Job Summary:This position provides the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art laser processing equipment, as well as the latest in robotics and machine tool technology. This is a hands-on technical position working with machinery and electronics in a researchamp; applications laboratory setting. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, operator training, and documentation of a wide variety of high-end industrial equipment, including lasers, laser heads, robots, PLCs, fieldbus communication systems, sectioning/polishing machines, microscopes, and more from a variety of globally-known brands. This equipment is used to support R amp;D efforts on next-generation process monitoring and control technologies, and for process testing and operator training with respect to specific customer applications in a wide range of advanced manufacturing sectors.This is a full-time, on-site position at our Kingston, Ontario facility.Responsibilities:
