Line of ServiceAdvisoryIndustry/SectorNot ApplicableSpecialismDealsManagement LevelManageramp; SummaryA career within Deals Transaction Services, will provide you the opportunity to help organisations realise the potential of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and capital markets. In short, we help some of the world #39;s leading companies originate, create, execute, and realise value from deals. Through data driven insights we help our clients move in the right direction ensuring maximum value for their company.As an integral part of the team, you will supervise the development of deals and deal strategy. This will include but is not limited to:

  • Financial analyses and financial modelling,
  • Due diligence exercises,
  • Supporting client needs in structured financing transactions.
You will assist in developing solutions to client issues, supervise project sub-teams and work closely with our clients and PwC management at all levels. Also, you will be required to support the team by:
  • Performing risk management requirements to support new clients and new engagements
  • Perform engagement management functions and be responsible for the monitoring of job economics, billings and collections.
  • Supervising sub teams (Associate, Experienced Associates and Senior Associates) on the engagement
Preferred skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, including financial statements as well as the ability to compute and interpret ratios and trends.
  • Proven ability to conduct economic and market research, in order to articulate the landscape within which the client operates.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing financial models is an asset
Minimum years experience required
  • At least 5 years sound experience in a finance related environment or with a Big 4 Accounting Firm, developing financial models, conducting valuation, due diligence assignments.
Qualification
  • MSc. in Finance or Accounting
  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants or Certified Public Accountant (desired)
