Job Description

MatrixHR is currently seeking experienced Journeyman Metal Fabricators for an exciting project located in Halifax NS. This is a long term, full-time project offering LOA and Travel.

  • Nights and backshift premium: $3.
  • Monday to Friday - 40 hrs per week (Overtime is not guaranteed).
  • Travel: $600 (one time travel Pay).
  • LOA: $135/ per day worked.
Requirements:
  • Must have a Red Seal Certification.
  • Must be able to handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to fifty (50lbs) pounds.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada and have lived in Canada for 5 years.
  • A pre-employment physical is required.
  • Must be able to wear PPE + Fit Tested Respirator Mask.
  • Must be able to work in Confined Spaces.
  • Must be able to commute to work daily.
Qualifications:
  • Full trade flexibility is required.
  • You must be eligible to work in Canada to apply for this job.
  • A pre-employment Government Security Clearance/Background and Credit check will need to be completed.
  • Full PPE + Fit Tested Respirator Mask.
Certifications:
  • Fall Protection.
  • WHMIS.
  • Confined Space.
  • JM Ticket.
