Description du postePival International Inc. is a global logistics and supply chain management company with a comprehensive menu of warehousing logistics solutions and transportation solutions, including time sensitivity (land and air), FTL, LTL, intermodal.SCOPE OF ROLE: Reporting to the Finance Manager, the selected person will be responsible to support the Accounts receivable, payables, and other accounting functions. The selected person should be an organized and self-motivated, among accounting functions will also be responsible for ensuring administrative activities within the organization run efficiently and will support our office personnel. The role will include working closely with our leadership team by handling clerical duties, coordinating calendars, and organizing meetings.Responsibilities:

  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Process customer payments
  • Participate in the month end process
  • Participate in the Year-End audit and government audit
  • Preparing all new folders for the following year - Paying the monthly GST/QST / Tracking and processing of GST and QST reports
  • Making copies of deposits as needed - Uploading documents in the accounting system
  • Scanning and filing payable invoices
  • Monthly monitoring and analysis of audit balances of several companies / Verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
  • Process a very high volume of monthly invoices
  • Matching POs and invoices
  • Clarify any questionable invoice items and prices
  • Conduct follow-ups with the statements of accounts of various providers
  • Verify all coding and review invoices for payment approval
  • Other tasks as assigned
Qualification:
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in Accounts Payable or relevant experience in accounting (required)
  • Education: College degree or higher in related field (required)
