Each and every Traffic Tech employee is personally invested in ensuring you receive the most innovative, efficient and cost-effective solution available.Your Part in it:Working out of our Canadian headquarters in the West-Island of Montreal, we are looking for our next Booking Agent. You will be working with our International Operations team to ensure our ocean imports are properly coordinated between agents and our customers.Ocean Import Logistics(Booking Agent)Responsibilities:

  • Handle all bookings and communications as well as coordinate various trade lanes between agents and our customers until cargo is sailed from port of origin
  • Handle the flow of information and manage ex-works cost for each shipment. Provides this information to internal and external customers
  • Master the different trade lanes in terms of transit times, lines to be used and to provide best cost possible to our customers
  • Capable of providing on a timely manner the required information to ship the cargo
  • File ACI/AMS for various agents when needed
  • Able to manage the work flow, volume of work and finish the daily tasks autonomously.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the freight forwarding industry (documentation, billing, and incoterms)
  • Logistics or CIFFA diploma would be considered an asset
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is required; and Mandarin will be considered an asset.

This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to FridayTraffic Tech has implemented preventative measures and safety precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of all persons entering Traffic Tech facilities.
