Each and every Traffic Tech employee is personally invested in ensuring our clients receive the most innovative, efficient and cost-effective solution available.We are currently looking for a mid-level to experienced logistics and transportation professional to provide operational support to our sales teams in our Montreal, QC office!The Logistics Coordinator position is responsible for making sure the movement of freight across North America/Canada, or even across the globe, is coordinated and executed successfully according to our customer’s needs. We teach you the skills necessary to operate in the transportation industry by utilizing our own, proprietary technology. Our rapid company growth requires that we constantly add motivated, enthusiastic individuals committed to providing exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:Create and maintain Strong Vendor RelationshipsTransportation Operations (Dispatching, tracking, and scheduling of orders)Cost negotiation and carrier selection (OTR, IMDL and LTL)Preparing required shipping documentationEffective and professional communication with clients and carriersMinor Accounting FunctionsData EntryQualifications:Must have 3+ years of previous logistics/transportation experience, in a 3PL environment preferredMust have Knowledge of Cross-border US/Mexico/Canada Transportation, OTR truckload, including dry van, flatbed, reefer, etc.Bilingual in English & French considered an assetHigh School DiplomaCustomer service experienceProblem resolution skills, detail-oriented, high level of multi-tasking skills are a mustPossess professional phone mannerismsOutgoing personality; high energy; flexibleGreat attitude and desire to work hard while having funThis is an exciting opportunity for well-organized self-starters with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoy a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Traffic Tech provides comprehensive Group Benefit optionsFree parking, employee training center, full-service bistro and a health club!Free Coffee!Dynamic environment and ‘can-do’ cultureFull-Time ONLY, Monday- Friday, and additional Training provided onsite.
