With 30 offices throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and China, the company offers progressive & efficient solutions for moving freight by land, sea, and air.Your Part in It:Working out of our Canadian headquarters in the West-Island of Montreal, we are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer will perform all types of testing required to ensure an acceptable quality of the company software.As part of your mandate, you will work in Agile environment with a team of senior Software Developers and Business Analysts and will report to the Project Manager. You will be closely involved in all stages of Agile development life cycle, from requirements gathering to user acceptance and releasing to Production.QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEERWhat the Job Entails:Coordinate all aspects of software testing efforts: regression testing, web-interface testing, performance testing, UAT, etc.Evaluate and test applications and APIs to verify that the application functions according to specificationsProvide hands-on manual testing and automate the repetitive activitiesDesign, develop and maintain system test automation infrastructure and write automated testsTest application web-interface for compatibility with multiple browsers, mail clients and devicesEvaluate and report on the software quality and work with the development team to improve the productAnalyze and optimize the QA testing tools and processes through continuous improvementParticipate in hands-on activities extending across the Agile development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelineWhat We Are Looking For:Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field5+ years of experience manual and automation with formal software testing in full life cycle development of web applicationsExperience with SQL databases and backend validationExperience with automation testing, commercial automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Selenium IDE, JUnit, TestNGExperience with bug tracking software such as JIRAGood verbal and written communication skills in EnglishGood problem-solving skills and detailed orientatedStrong analytical skillsWhat Could Be Helpful:Agile development methodologiesLogistics and transportation software developmentWhat We Offer:Competitive salaryReimbursement for certificationsCompensation package that include Medical and Dental benefitsLife Insurance/AD&D InsuranceLong-term/Short-term disabilityFree parking, bistro, gym, and free coffee all day!Dynamic environment and ‘can-do’ cultureFree shuttle to and from Fairview terminusOffice close to the upcoming REM terminalThis is a full-time permanent position from Monday to FridayTraffic Tech has implemented preventative measures and safety precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of all persons entering Traffic Tech facilities.
