  • Defines, with the management of the sector, the quality objectives consistent with site objectives and ensure the implementation of effective improvement actions to:
o measure the quality of products and services provided to customers (internals and externals)o ensure compliance of practices to company procedureso participate in the deployment of industrial validation processeso contribute to the FMEA, Control plan and relevant production risk avoidance mitigation processo analyze based on defined work instructions, the quality of the produced parts
  • Ensure the quality of the parts and monuments delivered:
o ensure the treatment of non-conformitieso carry out quality surveillances, product audits , and manage corrective action requestso ensure the management of the quality qualifications personnel, handling of special processes follow-up, and conformity of the means of productiono ensure the interface with internal customers, and partners for manufacturing aspectso stop any action that would have unacceptable consequences on the quality of the product
  • Contribute to qualification and quality training operators
  • Monitor and assists First Article inspection report and information system
Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the followings:
  • Implement the transformation plan toward a quality mindset
  • Implement the Safran Cabin standard process for quality assurance production management
  • Implement quality rituals to drumbeat the production quality
  • Explain the quality assurance production performance understood everywhere
  • Set up regular review product risks management (FMEA, Control Plan, Self-inspection, and standard of inspection)
  • Implement quality assurance action toward the right-first-time and the zero-defect for the customers (internals and externals)
  • Implement problem-solving skills and processes along quality assurance production activity.
Qualifications:Education: High school graduate or higherExperience: 2 years minimum experience in quality or similar positionsComputer Skills:
  • Proficient knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Other Skills:
  • Knowledge of Aerospace and Defense industry and its regulations
  • Knowledge of Quality tools (measures in production, nonconformance, tracking, calibration, ...)
  • Leadership capability especially in embarking in a share vision and empowering people
  • Receptiveness and ability to work independently and to foster teamwork
  • Practical oral and writing communication skills
  • Excellent organization and management skills
  • Integrity and exemplarity in all circumstances
  • Ability to develop and maintain trusted relations with upper and lower management, whether strong or dotted and be able to explain issues in readily-understandable terms
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • Ability to negotiate: to explain and to persuade
Additional Preferred Skills: (not required)
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or TQM preferred
  • Ability to communicate in English and French.
