Job Description

Sales ManagerAbout us:Western Packaging Solutions is a supplier of bulk packaging solutions and related products, serving the North American market and based in the Montréal suburb of Kirkland.Your role:We are looking to bring onboard a Sales Manager to lead all outbound and inbound sales channels ensuring constant growth in revenue. In this role, you are expected to develop sales strategies by building a strong team, developing a robust training and development structure, all while maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere fostering a results-oriented culture.This role is extremely important for the growth of Western Packaging Solutions and in defining the next chapter of our success as a company.Your responsibilities

  • Manage a growing team of 10+ members
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual team and individual sales quotas projecting expected sales volume
  • Work in close collaboration with the leadership team to implement different regional sales programs by developing sales action plans.
  • Actively participate in hiring new team members
  • Develop a robust and repeatable sales training program in order to increase team performance and ensure continuous improvement
  • Develop metrics-driven performance enablement plans
  • Work with Marketing to develop marketing assets to support sales activities
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership to create sales scripts and pitches aligned with the company value proposition
  • Work closely with the service department leadership to ensure a smooth customer experience throughout the process.
Your Profile
  • Proven experience with managing large sales teams
  • 5+ years in a B2B transactional phone sales
  • Experience in industrial sales is a major asset
  • Independent and self-motivated, comfortable to operate in uncertainty and grey zones
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to motivate teams and unlock their potential to excel and surpass expectations
  • Strong business acumen for comprehending analytics and working with data.
  • Strong leadership, communication (verbal and written), presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally through collaboration with marketing and service teams
