Job Description

Diva International Inc. (“DIVA”) is looking for a Senior Director of Sales. This role will be responsible for refining and executing DIVA’s sales strategy to drive revenue growth and profitable goals. The role allows for remote work in Canada and must reside in Canada. Your conscious cycle care partner. Responsibilities:Sales Execution and Performance

  • Refine and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Natural, FDM and Specialty channel to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Executes sales strategy and build strong relationships for key customers, with Account Manager(s), external broker support.
  • Oversees International and Private Label business, with a direct report.
  • Set sales targets and build sales forecast for the North American Market.
  • Accountable to sales KPIs including revenue and profitability goals, established in collaboration with the President and Finance Team.
  • Owns and executes promotional plan for key accounts, with Account Manager and broker support.
  • Creates customer-specific roadmaps in alignment with 3-year retail strategy.
  • Delivers tailored presentations for line and business reviews, with marketing support.
  • Responsible for negotiating favorable contracts with all USamp; CDA partnerships (including customer, broker, distributor, and external vendor partners).
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity in the FDM, Natural and Specialty channel to identify opportunities for growth.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting
  • Communicates progress against KPIs on a weekly basis, and regularly shares ad hoc learnings with the President, leadership teamamp; cross-functional partners.
  • Leads monthly business planning, budget, and KPI development for all retail accounts.
  • Responsible for monthly retail revenue and demand forecast, coordinating with direct reports and cross-functional partners to deliver highly accurate projections.
Leadership and Collaboration
  • Leads the Sales team across the national brand and P/L business.
  • Mentor and coach direct report(s), fostering collaboration and accountability mindsets.
  • Establish metrics and provide regular feedback for the sales team.
  • Collaborate with internal business functions to develop a comprehensive plan.
  • Key point of contact for internal departments, supporting cross-functional initiatives. Work closely with the marketing team to support the success and growth of the brand’s base business and innovation.
  • Supports President with annual planning, goal setting, and special projects including new item launches.
  • Acts as subject matter expert to the President and other departmental leaders on issues relating to sales and operational efficiencies.

  • Works in accordance with Diva International’s Quality Policy and B-Corp set of standards.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of driving results in CPG sales.
  • University degree or College diploma in business, marketing, economics or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Possess a strong blend of analytical, leadership, and communication skills with prior leadership/people management experience.
  • Previous 8+ years’ experience in sales and demonstrating excellent presentation skills.
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • Experience in CPG account management/selling.
  • Ability to analyze POS data, market trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Experience with Tier A accounts at a high level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with using and analyzing syndicated data such as IRI, Nielsen or SPINS.
  • Proficiency with computers and computer programs, familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Valid passport without restrictions for travelling across borders.
  • Second language fluency is an asset.
