(Reservations, Transport, Hospital Accommodations, Security and Housekeeping)STATUS: Permanent Full time position (35h/week)IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Assistant to the director of administrative services and logisticsSTARTING DATE: As soon as possibleFUNCTIONS:Under the authority of the Assistant to the director of administrative services and logistics, the Coordinator of Auxiliary Services coordinates the services under his responsibility. With the collaboration of a team of three managers, he/she ensures the operational and strategic follow-up of the reservation service, transportation, patient accommodation, security and housekeeping. In a context of transformation and continuous improvement, oversees the operation and development in accordance with regional and departmental orientations and achievement of expected results. He/she participates in the development and mobilization of all the human resources of the directorate to meet the challenges facing the organization.Plan and establish short and medium term development objectives and projects, including human, material, financial and technical resources requirements;Participate in the development and execution of budgets and maintaining financial balance;Prepare and present reports required by management for follow-up and accountability purposes.Plans, directs, organizes, coordinates and controls all auxiliary service activities;Ensures the care, security, transportation and accommodation of the clientele;Coordinates the different teams and ensure collaboration between the services and with the clientele;Ensures excellent management of human resources and see to the mobilization of the team in place;Ensures an operational supervision link with the warehousing and distribution team;Ensures a continuous follow-up on budgetary performance and occupancy rates in order to make the necessary corrections and take action as soon as possible;To Identify and implement activities to meet the demand, maintain and constantly improve the quality of services while aiming to respect the allocated budget;Plans and actively participates in management meetings to promote communication, exchange and sharing of information on current projects;The coordinator will be required to provide on-call service at all times.QualificationsBachelor degree in administration or other appropriate discipline;Training in continuous improvement will be considered a major asset;Relevant experience in a field related to logistics or transportation could compensate for any of the requirements.Three (3) years experience in a management position;Five (5) years of professional experience in a field related to the services (or any combination of experience and education judged pertinent could be considered);Significant experience in coordinating reorganization and major change projects is an asset.Very good understanding of the health and social services sector, its administration and legal framework;Managerial courage;Mobilizing leadership;Problem-solving skills in conflict situations, negotiation skills;Ability to analyze and synthesize;Bilingualism spoken and written in English/French is essential; knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset;Capability to adapt to an isolated environment, to work with an Aboriginal clientele and personnel.Conditions and benefitsSALARY: Class 38, conditions according to MHSS regulationsMinimum 77,926$/ year Maximum 101,304$/yearISOLATION PREMIUM: $10.015 / year, or more as per family statusCARGO PREMIUM: $3,075 / year or more as per family statusRETENTION PREMIUM: $6,000 / year or more as per number of years of serviceIMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you are now working within the Health and Social Services Network you may be entitled to ask for a "Northern leave of absence".If you have a desire of a professional experience in a Nordic context, we invite you to join our team.
