Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help to prepare and verify the loads;
  • Participate to the loading and unloading of aircraft;
  • Help with preparation of all flight documents related to cargo;
  • Receive and distribute cargo;
  • Operate the forklift – once trained and certified;
  • Assist in the de-icing of aircraft once properly trained and certified;
  • Marshall the aircraft;
  • All other duties deemed necessary by the company in order to ensure the effectiveness of the operation.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Secondary 3 or equivalent;
  • Bilingual (English/Inuktituk) or (French/Inuktituk) or (French/English);
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure in a physically challenging environment;
  • Available to travel occasionally for training;
  • If the position is filled locally, the work location will be Kuujjuaq;
  • If the position is not filled locally, the candidate will be considered as having no specific base.
WORKING CONDITIONSRotational Position – 2 weeks of work followed by 2 weeks offREMUNERATIONThe remuneration package and associated benefits will be in accordance with corporate policies.– Level 4 (starting at $31,200).– Northern Allowance $10,000.
