(Archives, dentistry, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology)STATUS: Permanent full time 35h/week) –IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Nursing and Hospital ServicesSTARTING DATE: January 2022FUNCTIONS:Under the authority of the Director of Nursing and Hospital Services, and in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of UTHC and the directorate, the Coordinator of Hospital Services manages the services in his area of activity. He assumes responsibility for the operation of the following departments and services: laboratory, medical archives, radiology, pharmacy, dentistry. He assumes responsibility for managing the human, financial and information resources of his departments. He provides emergency administrative guard on rotation for all services of the Health Center in Kuujjuaq.QualificationsBachelor degree in social sciences, health sciences or management.Two years management experience in the health and social services networkAcknowledged competence in management;Minimum five-year experience in the health and social services network, including two years in a management position;A combination of training and relevant experience in a field related to hospital services could be considered;Knowledge of Inuit culture and northern environments, and intercultural competence.Ability to exercise competency, participatory and coaching leadership;Ability to motivate and lead groups and foster team spirit;Autonomy, organizational skills and ease of communication are essential qualities for this position;Problem solving skills;Ability to accomplish a large number of tasks in order to achieve the objectives according to priorities and deadlines;Results-focused management;Ability to develop guidelines and translate them into concrete actions related to the delivery of customer services (accessibility, continuity, quality, security);Bilingual English / French spoken and written is essential, knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset;Good ability to adapt to an isolated environment, to work with clients and Aboriginal staff.Conditions and benefitsSALARY: Class 38, mid-manager, conditions according to MHSS regulationsMinimum 77,916$/ year Maximum 101,304$/yearISOLATION PREMIUM: $9,819 / year, or more as per family statusCARGO PREMIUM: $3,075 / year or more as per family statusRETENTION PREMIUM: $6,000 to 14,000$ / year or more according to professionIMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you are now working within the Health and Social Services Network you may be entitled to ask for a "northern leave of absence".If you have a desire of a professional experience in a Nordic context, we invite you to join our team.
