CLSC Designated Center- Sexual assaultSTATUS: Permanent full-timeIMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Head of Program (Youth and Family)STARTING DATE: As soon as possibleMANDATE:The Human Relations Officer exercises activities of conceptualization, orientation, actualization, analysis, and evaluation in one or more social programs. Realizes psychosocial interventions with an interdisciplinary philosophy and collaborates at different levels in the programming of activities in the service to which he/she is assigned and to the evaluation of quality. Participates in promotion and prevention programs. The position is based in Kuujjuaq, however the incumbent provides his services, as per needs, in all communities under UTHC responsibility.FUNCTIONS:Implement the services of a Designated Center on the Ungava coastEnsure the organization and operation of the CenterWrite a medical social legal intervention protocol for the UTHCEnsuring the training of stakeholders in relation to the intervention protocolCounselling with clients (youth and adults) dealing with various issues related to sexual violenceClinical work in an individual, family or group contextParticipate in sexual abuse prevention activities (ex: Good Touch Bad Touch, etc.)Participate in the 24/7 psychosocial emergency servicesSupport stakeholders from different points of servicesPerform all other related duties as requested by his immediate superiorQualificationsMust hold a Bachelor's degree degree in Social Work, Psychology, Psychoeducation or CriminologyMember of his Professional AssociationHave relevant experience working with victims of sexual assaultProject organization / services implementation experienceFluent in English and French (spoken & written), knowledge of Inuktitut would be an assetCapacity to work within a multidisciplinary team and interest in sharing knowledge and experience with co-workersCapacity to establish a therapeutic relationship with clients of the population servedOrganized, initiative, and autonomousValid driver’s licenceAvailable to travel in the NorthConditions and benefitsSALARY: Min: 883.75$ Max: 1,582.70$ / 35 hoursISOLATION PREMIUM: $191.93 /week or more according to family statusCARGO PREMIUM: 59.14$/ week, or more according to family statusRETENTION PREMIUM : 114.99$/WEEKAny person recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometres from the locality in which she is called upon to perform her duties, will be granted annual trips and lodging unit as per status.
