We build and repair Canadian ships for the Canadian Army and Transport Canada.Job DescriptionChantier Davie is in the midst of a technological transformation. The companys technological vision addresses all areas of the company: finance, procurement, project control, cost control, quality control, information technology, health and safety, production, human resources, and business intelligence.As Project Manager, ERP, you will help the company implement a complete enterprise-wide ERP system. With the help of your team of analysts and consultants, you will lead the implementation of the SCM module of Oracle Fusion. It will be your responsibility to inform the main stakeholders of the progress of the work, the management of resources and the schedule. More specifically, you will have to:

  • Plan and organize the delivery of assigned projects within the given budget and respect the global roadmap, governance process and IS&T methodology
  • Propose and implement initiatives to optimize plan/cost/quality
  • Ensure project activities follow standard methodology, processes, and tools
  • Formalize and document project activities in accordance with the group methodology
  • Ensure that the capacity plan for the project is properly maintained
  • Ensure the management of the project, taking appropriate actions to meet the given budget, plan, and quality level
  • Manage the project plan: scope, resources, and tasks
  • Manage project interdependencies
  • Identify and mitigate risks, remove obstacles
  • Manage project resources, staff and stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or project management
  • 6+ years of experience in development project management
  • Hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a Scrum Master certification is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of integrated ERP functions (finance, distribution, and manufacturing)
  • Demonstrate strong communication, leadership and change management skills
  • Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at the executive level
  • Be results oriented and demonstrate intellectual curiosity and creativity
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector
  • Speak, read and write fluently in French and English
