Who are weChrono Aviation was founded in Quebec City in 2012. In its early days, the airline operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Chrono quickly attracted a clientele looking for a comfortable, efficient and safe flying experience.After a decade of operations, Chrono Aviation has grown its fleet to 15 aircraft and employs over 280 people. Chrono is the only airline in Quebec that offers aircraft that can accommodate from 9 to 120 passengers exclusively for charter. With bases in Montreal and Quebec City, Chrono Aviation continues to expand and strengthen its leadership position in the air charter industry in Quebec and Canada.Role and contextAs a Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in the payroll processing of our 4 companies, with over 280 employees in Quebec. We are looking for someone with great payroll experience who is ready to take on new challenges!Key responsibilities• Performing the full payroll cycle for 4 companies with a total of 280 employees• Produce Records of Employment, T4s, R1s• Process and transmit data related to payroll, various group insurance plans and the pension plan• Ensuring the accuracy of payroll data and its processing• Upgrade the computerised payroll system• Compile data and produce various reports• Manage the administration of attendance banks (holiday, sick leave, overtime, seniority, etc.)Key competencies• Sense of initiative, autonomy, resourcefulness, creativity, curiosity, judgment and attention to detail• Ability to organize work, manage priorities and handle multiple projects at the same time and under tight deadlines• Interest in aviationSpecific job requirements• DEP in accounting or any related training• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in payroll processing, group insurance administration and other benefits• CPA member, an asset• Knowledge of the Canada Labour Code standards is an asset• Good knowledge of computer tools, specifically Excel• Knowledge of the Nethris computerised payroll system• Good command of the French and English languagesWhat we can offer you• Full-time, permanent position at our Quebec City base• Possibility of doing hybrid work• Working hours adapted to our common needs• Advantageous group insurance with employer contribution (dental, disability, life and paramedical) from day 1• Access to a telemedicine platform• Group RRSP to which the company contributes• Opportunity for career progression and development• Projects and responsibilities that live up to your expectations and make you want to come to work every day• Salary according to competence.One last word: At Chrono, things move fast!
