  • Administer, direct, and resolve bylaw enforcement and community peace officer issues.
  • Maintain positive public relations. Develop, plan, and implement community safety, education, and enforcement programs.
  • Maintain liaison with other local, provincial, and federal enforcement agencies, community groups, and emergency response agencies.
  • Provide Enforcement of the Community Standards Bylaw, the Community Safety Bylaw, and Animal Control bylaw.

  • Be eligible for appointment as a Community Peace Officer I in accordance with the Peace Officer Act and its Regulations.
  • Be well-developed in public relations skills.
  • Have computer skills to work with a variety of computer programs.
