Job Description

Job Summary Responsible for all tasks and/or duties relating to inventory in any capacity. These include but are not limited to:

  • Set up and operate CNC and milling machines, drill presses and other equipment.
  • Fabricating Bus Bar and other parts/components, as required
  • Program computerized equipment and make program edits as per requirements.
  • Run and/or set up the CNC machines with the correct speed and feed.
  • Thoroughly inspect parts and maintain quality based on TPS requirements
  • Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometres and callipers to verify work.
  • Identify issues with machining tools and equipment and document/report them
  • Identify opportunities for process and procedure improvement
  • Keep workstation and department clean and organized
  • Following ISO 9001 standards, practicing 5S and LEAN manufacturing standards
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality requirements and wear approved PPE
Requirements
  • Possess high school graduation certification
  • Previous experience operating CNC machines, milling machines, drill presses, and other fabrication equipment
  • Ability to measure in imperial and metric and convert measurements from fractions to decimals/decimals to fractions
  • Possess a valid OFA Level 2 First Aid Certificate would be an asset.
  • Capable of lifting 30 pounds frequently
  • Has an open mind, willingness to learn, and a great attitude
  • Must be flexible, highly motivatedamp; organized

Hours: Monday to Thursday - 2:00 pm to 12:00 am – 4 X 10 hour shifts Salary: $27.61 Shift Premium - $2.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits:
