Responsibilities:-Ensure the company vehicle is clean, serviced and well maintained. This includes warranty work and scheduled maintenance (e.g. oil changes) being completed on time and reporting any maintenance required - Monitoring and setting of environmental controls for cooler packs and vehicle temperature and ensuring the semen is properly cared for during delivery- Effectively follow Procedure Manuals, biosecurity, and safe work practices- Ensuring revisions and suggestions for change to the Procedure Manuals are brought to the attention of the Unit Manager and that the driver is providing solutions to delivery problems that will achieve a common goal.- Ensuring the timely delivery of quality semen to assigned units and notifying the Unit Manager of any changes- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date record keeping of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and log books- Ensuring regular and effective communication with the Unit Manager, Lab Technicians, and other technicians in the Unit- Responsible to participate in staff meetings and training- Responsible to act safely in performing job duties at all times and report safety concerns to the safety representative and/or Unit Manager- Performing scheduled weekend work routines and being on call for emergency duties- Ensuring the delivery vehicle and coolers are washed and disinfected as detailed in the procedures-Valid Saskatchewan driver #39;s license required- Other duties as assignedSkills and AbilitiesTransportation/Travel Information- Willing to travel- Valid driver #39;s licence
