The role applies basic theories to accomplish small scope assignments in a single area, ensuring accounting data and entries documented in the integrated financial systems are accurate. The Analyst, Quality Assurance makes decisions on their own work methods to review financial statements and to ensure analysis is performed accurately against risk-approved benchmarks, and triaging escalations. The role follows detailed instructions and documented procedures to investigate and allocate losses, engaging senior management for approval prior to write-off.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You can effectively perform all work activities remotely, and will only be required to be on-site on an occasional basis.How You’ll Succeed

  • Detail Oriented - Document detailed findings including compliant and non-compliant issues to reflect results of department and support reporting requirements of the business. Compile and prepare all reporting (e.g. Quarterly Compliance Reports, SSI, Attestations, Loss Reports etc) for management sign-off.
  • Analytical - Detect and escalate to management any non-compliance issues, procedures or controls and record corrective actions and expected target dates for completion/resolution.
  • Goal Oriented - Meet regular weekly, monthly and quarter milestones for reporting requirements.
