Job Description

We are currently looking for an operator for packaging and strapping, who have an interest in working for a company that specializes in the field of steel in Lasalle.If you already have experience in a similar position or you have experience in the industrial sector in general, our Lasalle team wants to talk to you. Responsibilities
  • Change the strapping coil
  • Change the printer ink and solvent bottle;
  • Receive the days production priorities from the team leader
  • Make sure the job ticket matches the printer
  • Monitor the quality of the pipes during the process
  • Immediately report to the foreman if the quality of the pipes is not
conform
  • Submit the production and quality reports in the loft at the end of the
shift
  • Check the quantity of reel straps and packaging clips;
  • Complete the checklist
  • Make a general inspection of the sector
Qualifications
  • Have good communication at work
  • Have an interest in production in an industrial environment
  • Have the ability to read instructions in French
  • Have the ability to write brief daily reports;
  • Have the ability to analyze in order to resolve certain problems related to
packaging & strapping operations
  • Have an interest in and an understanding of quality.
