Job Description

As a team leader and integrated into our design teams, you will take the technical responsibility of analog projects. While the project leader will organize the global resources planification, risk management and cost control, you will manage the analog designers of the project in guiding them to reach the design objectives (performances, design robustness, design closure on time…).You will follow the design team, ensure problem solving with the whole team and involve other corporate experts when required, and you will guarantee the respect of the whole design steps including the design reviews and the proper interactions with the layout team, to ensure the technical success of the project. You will report the design progress and risks to the project manager.During the development phases, you will also design some analog blocks (design, verification, post-layout simulations, documentation, design&layout reviews), assuming a 50% design work – 50% technical lead.Proactive for proposing evolution of architectures and design methods, you are rigorous and sensitized to the work quality.YOUR TASKS : As a technical leader:

  • Definition of the various technical budgets (noise, consumption…), required to meet the product specifications
  • Follow-up of the analog designers, providing them with guidance and ensuring technical success of the developments
  • Organize problem solving and ensure thorough design reviews
  • Participation, in collaboration with the project manager, in the organization of the team work (definition of costs and deadlines of development, risk analysis, progress status…)
As an analog designer:
  • Creation and development of behavioral models (SPICE / VHDL-AMS / Verilog-A)
  • Design of analog functions (ADC, DAC, voltage reference, switched-capacitor based functions...), from the feasibility study to the validation on silicon
  • Analysis and diagnosis of malfunction
THIS POSITION IS FOR YOU: Master Degree in IC Analog Design, with at least 10 years of experience in analog design.Required skills:
  • Analog Design
  • Organization skills and team-success-oriented
  • Knowledge on low-power design techniques is welcome
  • Knowledge on layout constraints and requirements
  • Communication skills enabling inter-site cooperation
  • English (fluent)
